Biografie
Jessica Lawley ist eine britische Sopranistin und Samling Artist – ein Titel, der vom renommierten Samling Institute verliehen wird. Derzeit studiert sie bei Anne Mason und beendete kürzlich ihre Zeit als Mitglied der David Seligman Opera School am Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, nachdem sie sowohl ihren Bachelor- als auch ihren Masterabschluss am Royal College of Music erworben hatte.
Im Jahr 2024 wurde Jessica als Alvarez Young Artist bei Garsington Opera ausgewählt, wo sie die Rolle der ersten Brautjungfer spielte und Barbarina in Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart) übernahm.
Ihr Opernrepertoire umfasst Monica (The Medium – Menotti), Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni – Mozart) am RWCMD, Donna Ximena (Don Giovanni Tenorio – Gazzaniga), Charity Taylor (Barnum’s Bird – Larsen) und Frou-Frou (Die lustige Witwe – Lehár) am Royal College of Music.
Als Konzertsolistin hat Jessica ein vielfältiges Repertoire aufgeführt, darunter Brahms' Ein deutsches Requiem, Mozarts C-Moll-Messe und Requiem, Pergolesis Stabat Mater sowie Vaughan Williams' Serenade to Music.
